My style is such that I want to see the animal face to face when photographing them. As you can imaging, with certain species, this can be very dangerous. So, in order to get a portrait so closely I have to be surrounded by protection either in the form of an enclosure or with trained animal behaviorists. In this case, i was able to capture this very intimate portrait of this mountain lion in perfect protection. This is essential for both my protection and the animal's.
