Great Blue Heron
On this particular occasion, I was traveling through a wetland and noticed that there were several great blue herons, which had begun to nest among the palmetto trees.
As quickly as they had the energy to do so, they would pull sticks from one tree and fly over to their tree they were building their nest. This was an interesting behavior to watch, so I knew I had to not only document this activity, but create something beautiful for my internet friends. This moment simply could not be wasted!
